1. Consumer Credit Scheme:
This will expose Nigerians to accessible and flexible credit options which will unlock financial possibilities for all citizens.
A Technical Working Group to develop the requisite framework for enhancing the initiative and to achieve the country’s targeted $1 trillion economy by 2026 was established late last year by the Presidency.
2. The Pullako Initiative:
This is a non-kinetic strategy of President Tinubu administration for the challenges in the North-Western Nigeria. From Sokoto to Benue, a dawn of hope begins in January 2024 as construction of homes, clinics, solar energy with different kinds empowerment will grace the region. and powering progress with solar energy.
3. Dry Season Farming:
Tackling food inflation head-on!
This policy is geared towards ensuring stable prices and food security for all.
120,000 hectares of land will be cultivated across Nigeria.
The 2023/2024 dry season farming is being boosted by an @AfDB_Group facility and implemented under the National Agricultural Growth Scheme and Agro-Pocket (NAGS-AP) project.
Agricultural inputs including seeds, fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides, will be delivered to farmers at a subsidizingrate of 50%.
The implementation is ICT-driven with earlier steps taken to geo-locate farmlands, enumerate, register, and cluster no fewer than 250,000 farmers.
The crops being targeted for the 2023/24 season are wheat, for which seeds have been imported from Mexico; rice, maize, sorghum, soyabeans, and cassava.
The Initiative had kick-started late last year.
4. Renewed Hope Cities:
This will pave way for affordable and sustainable living for Nigerians and will promote integrated and functional communities in Nigeria.
Phase 1 of the project aims to deliver 34,500 housing units in a mix of 1, 2-, and 3-bedroom affordable bungalows in Nigeria’s 30 states.
There will also be multi-level flats to cater to low-medium income earners and terrace and detached bungalows and duplexes for the high-income earners in select state capitals.
The state capitals include Lagos, Kano, Borno, Nasarawa, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and the FCT.
The initiative will be implemented via the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development’s budgetary allocation, @fmbnnigeria, and through Public-Private Partnerships with reputable developers.
Beneficiaries can leverage on FMBN to access single mortgage loans payable over 30 years using the FMBN NHF Mortgage loan window, Primary Mortgage Banks, and the mechanism of the @NMRCNG to enable beneficiaries who desire homes that are beyond the range offered by FMBN to access home loans at commercial rates.
Off-takers will also be encouraged to own the homes using the FMBN Rent-to-Own housing product which allows contributors to the National Housing Fund (NHF) Scheme to move into a home without equity payment and pay towards ownership over a maximum of 30 years depending on their age. This project will create over 240,000 jobs for Nigerians.
5. Student Loan:
This will open doors to education by offering interest-free loans to underprivileged students across the country. The program will kickstart this month.
6. BOI-FG MSME Loans:
This is an initiative for the disbursement of loans to Micro Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in collaboration with the Bank of Industry.
The loans totaling about N75bn will be given to small businesses nationwide at an interest rate of 9% which will kickstart this year.
This will drive economic growth, create jobs, and promoting innovation across the country.
7. 3MTTT Program:
This is aimed at building Nigeria’s technical talent backbone to power her digital economy and position Nigeria as a net talent exporter. The first phase of the programme will be executed as a fellowship model in collaboration with @NITDANigeria.
First phase of the program will train and place 30,000 technical talents, representing 1% of the overall target.
It will be executed based on the framework co-created with key stakeholders across government agencies, training providers, educational institutions, development agencies and the private sector.

8. End Hunger Iniative:
This initiative is an intervention strategy that is focus on creating a hunger-free nation.
Over half a billion dollars have been dedicated for innovative, profitable, equitable and sustainable food systems transformation in Nigeria.
Funds were mobilised through domestic resources, multilateral development banks, international financial institutions, climate funds and leading agro-businesses.
9. Health Sector Renewal Compact:
The increased allocation of the Federal Government’s budget to health and social sectors in the proposed 2024 appropriation demonstrated its unprecedented will to addressing the financial gaps that have limited Nigeria from achieving an efficient, equitable and quality health systems.
A comprehensive revamp of physical infrastructure, equipment, and the re-training of frontline health workers across Nigeria will commence this month.
The iniative is geared towards saving lives, reducing both physical and financial pain, improve population health outcomes, accountability, maternal and childbirth, governance, affordable and quality health services for all Nigerians.
The Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) comprising at least 1% of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, is expected to receive at least $2.5 billion in pooled and non-pooled financing from 2024 to 2026 to improve the primary health system nationwide.
Fully functional Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across Nigeria will be increase from 8,809 to 17,618 by 2027 which will be linked to a comprehensive emergency care system.
Like the India Stack, the proposed Nigeria Stack also known as Digital Public Infrastructure will be designed to improve delivery of public services to citizens.
The Stack system will bring, under one Digital public infrastructure umbrella, various digital solutions that allows citizens to access information and services from anywhere, at any time, and on any device. This will improve convenience and accessibility, as well as reduce the need for citizens to travel to government offices or wait in lines.
Midwifed by the @FMCIDENigeria, one of the massive expectations is the creation of a unified biometric identification system which can be used by many MDAs and the private sector to save Nigerians the stress of going for multiple biometric enrolments. It basically means that once you have your biometric information captured once, you do not need to undergo capturing again even when you apply for a different service.
The innovation is expected to kick off anytime within this year.
